Platicalo Export privacy policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026

This policy covers the Platicalo Export browser extension (Chrome). Platicalo Export is made by G & K Strategies LLC, doing business as Atlas Operator AI ("we", "us"), 117 S Lexington St, Harrisonville, MO 64701. For the Platícalo translator, see the Platícalo privacy policy. For the website, see the Atlas Operator AI privacy policy.

What Platicalo Export does

Platicalo Export reads contact names and phone numbers that are already visible in your WhatsApp Web session (groups you belong to and your chat list) and lets you download them as a CSV or XLSX file on your computer. It is an unofficial tool and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.

Contact data stays on your device

  • No upload of contacts: Names, phone numbers, and group membership are processed only in your browser. They are never sent to Atlas Operator AI servers, never written to our databases, and never sent to Google, Railway, or any other third party by this extension.
  • Downloads: Export files are saved through your browser’s normal download folder on your computer. We do not receive a copy.
  • Local storage: The extension may store small settings on your device (language, export format preference, a daily free-export counter, and an optional Platícalo licence token). It does not store the contact list after you close the popup.

Licence check (optional Pro)

If you paste a Platícalo account token to unlock Pro, the extension sends only that token to our Platícalo API (https://platicalo-api-production.up.railway.app) on GET /status (and, for owner unlock, POST /owner/redeem with an unlock code). No contact rows are included. That API is the same service described in the Platícalo privacy policy.

Permissions

  • storage — settings and licence token on your device.
  • activeTab / host access to https://web.whatsapp.com/* — to read the page DOM for contacts you can already see.
  • Host access to the Platícalo API — only for the optional licence status check above.

Children

Platicalo Export is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date on this page.
